Welcome to YES Translation PH. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of
our website (yestranslationph.com) and the
translation services we provide.
By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. About Us
YES Translation PH (formerly known as ALTS) is a professional translation agency
based in Makati City, Philippines. We provide certified translation, localization, video
spokesperson, desktop publishing, and related language services to individuals and businesses
worldwide.
2. Services
We provide language services in over 100 languages. All translations are performed by
qualified human translators. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Certified translation of civil, legal, academic, and business documents
- Localization for global brands
- Video spokesperson services
- Desktop publishing and document formatting
- Marketing, e-commerce, and content services
3. Quotes & Orders
- All quotes are free and provided in writing via Messenger or email
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated
- An order is confirmed only after we receive the agreed deposit and all required documents
- We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion (e.g., unethical content, sanctioned regions, technical limitations)
4. Pricing & Payment
- Prices vary based on language pair, document type, complexity, and turnaround time
- A 50% down payment is required to begin work
- The remaining 50% balance is due before delivery of the completed translation
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, GCash, PayPal (additional methods may be available upon request)
- All prices are quoted in Philippine Pesos (PHP) unless stated otherwise
- Bank fees, currency conversion charges, and payment platform fees are the client's responsibility
5. Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround is typically 2–5 business days after deposit confirmation,
However, some projects may take longer than 5 business days depending on document length, complexity, volume,
formatting requirements, language pair, and translator availability. Rush service may be available at an additional cost.
Turnaround times are estimates only and not guarantees, although we make every reasonable effort to meet agreed deadlines.
6. Delivery
- Digital delivery (PDF/Word) is free and sent to your registered email or Messenger
- Physical delivery (hard copies) is available worldwide via courier (e.g., LBC, DHL, FedEx)
- Shipping costs are calculated separately and added to your invoice
- Delivery times depend on courier service and destination — we are not liable for courier delays
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to the courier upon dispatch
7. Certification & Recognition
Our certified translations are recognized by embassies, courts, government institutions,
universities, and businesses worldwide. However, acceptance of a translation by any
specific institution is at that institution's discretion. We strongly recommend verifying
specific certification requirements with your receiving institution before placing an order.
8. YES Lifetime Warranty
All our certified translations come with our YES Lifetime Warranty. We will
provide free corrections for any non-stylistic or technical errors in our translation, for
the lifetime of the document.
The warranty does not cover:
- Stylistic preferences or paraphrasing requests
- Errors in the source document provided by the client
- Changes requested after delivery that go beyond correcting our work
- Issues caused by changes in regulations or institutional requirements after delivery
9. Cancellation & Refunds
- Before work begins: full refund of any deposit, minus payment processing fees
- After work begins: partial refund proportional to work not yet completed; the deposit may be non-refundable depending on progress
- After delivery: no refunds; concerns must be addressed under the YES Lifetime Warranty
- Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days using the original payment method
10. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide clear, legible source documents
- Disclose any specific certification requirements upfront
- Provide accurate delivery information
- Pay agreed amounts on time
- Only submit documents you have legal authority to share
- Not request translations for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
11. Confidentiality
We treat all client documents and information as strictly confidential. Documents are
shared only with the assigned translator(s) and proofreader(s), all bound by Non-Disclosure
Agreements. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
12. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you receive full rights to the translated content for your intended use.
We retain copyright over our translation methodology, templates, and materials. The website
content, logo, and brand are property of YES Translation PH and may not be reproduced without
written permission.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by Philippine law:
- Our total liability for any claim related to a translation is limited to the amount paid for that specific project
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (e.g., visa rejections, missed deadlines, lost business opportunities)
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, internet outages, courier strikes)
14. Disputes
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved as follows:
- First, through good-faith discussion via Messenger or email
- If unresolved, through mediation in Makati City, Philippines
- Finally, through the courts of Makati City, Philippines, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects
the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Continued
use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
